How to Make a Domain Controller
In the Windows Server domain, there is a server which does the job of responding to requests about security authentications; this server is known as domain controller. Below is the procedure to make a domain controller trusted for delegation. This procedure is applicable to Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 R2 and Windows Server 2003 with SP2. One should first open ‘Active Directory Users and Computers’; a view menu will appear. The options, ‘Users, Groups and Computers as containers’ followed by ‘Advanced Features’ should be clicked. On clicking the ‘Advanced Features’ option, a console tree appears. The ‘applicable domain controller’ in the console tree should then be right clicked; the option ‘Active Directory Users and Computers/YourDomain/Domain Controllers/YourDomainController’ should be clicked.
